Based in the centre of Milngavie, Allander Dental Care was formed in 1990 by founding partners Kenneth McDonald and Sean Daly. The practice has provided quality, comprehensive oral health care to the local community and beyond for the last three decades. 

There are now 18 members in the team, and all are dedicated to continually improving the quality of care provided to our patients. Several of the dentists within the group have completed formal qualifications with The Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP) at The Royal College of Surgeons (Eng). 

We will always take time to listen to exactly what you tell us and provide solutions that suit you. We appreciate that everyone is different, and our team will aim to deliver the very best oral health care available.

COVID-19 Safety

In line with Scottish Government National Directives, we are open and welcoming you all back to our dental clinic.

Covid restrictions have eased however we're still committed to your safety and ask that patients continue to wear facemasks when attending the practice.

As we continue to welcome patients back into practice, we have taken steps to make sure we can do this as safely as possible. To do this, we have:

Extended our opening hours: this also allows for the extra time needed to clean between appointments, ensuring that the environment remains as safe as possible for you, our practice colleagues and clinicians
Introduced a new patient journey
Added air purifiers to all treatment rooms carrying out Aerosol Generating Procedures (AGPs)
Introduced a period of fallow time in any surgery where an AGP has taken place
